St Columba’s College, Stranorlar, has confirmed it will be closed tomorrow due a power outage caused by Friday’s storm.
The powerful gusts brought down a power line in close proximity to the school.
“The ESB confirmed this evening that this fault will not be repaired before tomorrow morning, despite their best efforts,” they posted on their social media channels this evening.
“Therefore, we are not in a position to reopen the college tomorrow. Teachers have been asked to post work on Google Classroom for all students.”
