Construction works on road improvements in the Lifford area are set to begin tomorrow morning.
The N15 Lifford Safety and Active Travel Scheme is intended to improve walking and cycling facilities along the N15, from the Beechwood Grove Housing Estate all the way to the Three Coins Roundabout in Lifford.
Phase 1 of its construction will get underway tomorrow, from the Beechwood Grove Estate to the Coneyburrow Estate.
Donegal County Council say there will be temporary traffic management measures in place for the duration of the construction works.
Improvements along the route include new dedicated crosses for pedestrians, and upgraded shared paths for both pedestrians and cyclists.
Phase 2 of the works, from the Coneyburrow Estate to the Three Coins Roundabout is expected to commence in 2026.
