Ballybofey United have opened their doors to anyone in the community who may still be without vital utilities this evening.
The impact of Storm Eowyn is still being felt around the County, with 33,000 homes still without power in Donegal two days after the storm struck.
However, Ballybofey United have now opened their doors to anyone in the Twin Towns who may need a cuppa, or to charge their phone or grab a shower.
“A lot of homes are still without power in the Ballybofey/Stranorlar area,” the club posted on social media on Sunday afternoon.
“We will be opening up the clubhouse today (Sunday) from 4.30pm-6.30 pm if anyone needs to charge their phones or use our shower facilities. Tea & coffee also provided.”
At a time when many around the County have felt the kick of Eowyn, leave it up to a soccer club to rise to the challenge.
