Finn Harps say they are assessing the damage caused to Finn Park after it was battered by high winds during Storm Eowyn.

Various parts of the stadium were damaged following the storm, leaving the club to assess its options ahead of the new League of Ireland First Division season in February.

Many areas across the stadium suffered damage, with an assessment of the stadium’s floodlights to take place when weather conditions allow.

“Finn Harps FC are still assessing damage to Finn Park following Storm Éowyn,” the club said in a statement.

“Fencing, advertising spaces, the TV gantry, parts of the stand and various storage areas suffered damage and a full assessment on the floodlights will follow once the weather allows.”

Harps start their League campaign away to Kerry FC on the 14th of February, before their home opener in Ballybofey on the 21st against Dundalk.
