A water shortage in the east of the county is resulting in continued restrictions there, according to Uisce Éireann.

Water conservation restrictions have been in place for the past week and may cause supply disruptions to Stranorlar, Raphoe, Convoy, Lifford, Liscooley, Leaght, Scotland, Blairstown, Meenahoney, Magheraboy, Powderly, Kildoney, Ballybofey and surrounding areas.

Works are now scheduled to take place again tonight from 10pm until 10am on tomorrow.

A traffic management plan will be in place for the duration of the works.
