Gardaí in Letterkenny are investigating an unusual theft of an oven that fell out of a car boot in the town last month.
The incident occurred at around midday on Monday, December 9, in the Carnamuggagh Upper area.
A man was transporting an oven in his car and he didn’t realise that the boot door was open, Garda Grainne Doherty explained.

The man in question was described as being in his 50’s and well dressed. He then left in the direction of Letterkenny town.
Gardaí are appealing to road users who may have been in the area of Carnamuggagh
