Gardaí are appealing for information after a Kilmacrennan house was graffitied and a postbox stolen from it at the weekend.

The incidents occurred sometime between 8.45pm on Sunday and 8.30am on Monday in the area of Ballyscanlon Lower, Portlean.

A wall at a house was sprayed with graffiti and the postbox was stolen from a wall there also.

Gardaí urge anybody who may have observed any suspicious activity in that area between those times, or who may have any relevant information, to get in touch with Gardaí in Milford on 0749153060.

The Garda Confidential Line may also be contacted on 1800 666 111.
