It looks like conditions are set to thaw out across this weekend in Donegal, after a week of wintry weather.
Temperatures today will reach between 4 and 7 degrees celsius, with any remaining snow or ice expected to clear throughout the day.
This morning is set to be cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle at times also.
Some scattered showers and sunny spells are expected this afternoon and into this evening.
Tonight will see temperatures fall again to between -1 and +1 degrees celsius – with a further weather warning being issued for tonight by Met Eireann.
A moderate warning for fog has been issued nationwide by the national forecaster, with poor visibility expected overnight on the country’s roads.
That warning is in effect between 6pm tonight and 9am on Sunday morning.
