Donegal Sports Partnership (DSP) has approved the allocation of €41,000 to be shared among 75 local clubs under a small grants scheme.
Declan Boyle, CEO of Donegal Sports Partnership, confirmed the awards under their Club Development Programme.
The grants are designed to assist clubs in their efforts to promote sport and physical activity within the community, while also encouraging clubs to recruit new members and expand their participation numbers.
“The funding approved by the Donegal Sports Partnership board is allocated to support clubs with sports equipment, community-based projects, training, and educational initiatives,” Mr Boyle said.
He emphasised that such investments are crucial for sustaining and developing sport in Donegal, ensuring that local communities continue to benefit from the positive impacts of sport and physical activity.
