We, the family of the late Philomena Doherty, would like to express our deepest appreciation to everyone who supported and sympathised with us on the sad passing of our beloved Mother, Mother-in-Law, Nana, Sister, Sister-in-Law, Auntie, and Friend.
Thank you to everyone who travelled from near and far to pay their respects. To the many people who sent mass and sympathy cards, online condolences, texts and phone calls during the wake and in the weeks following, the shared memories from all of you provided great comfort to all of us during this difficult time.
We would especially like to thank our dear family and close friends for their unwavering support. To everyone who brought food and refreshments, those who helped with tea and traffic management and the many other tasks that were taken care of without prompting on our behalf; we will be forever grateful to you all.
Thank you to Fr. Arkinson for conducting such a befitting funeral mass and to all our family and friends who participated. It was the perfect representation of our mum and we really thank you all for that. We also thank Quigley Funeral Directors, Strabane for your professionalism and compassion during our most difficult days.
It is impossible to thank everyone individually for their acts of kindness, support and sympathy during our time of great sadness and loss therefore we ask that you please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our grateful thanks and appreciation.
Philomena’s Months Mind Mass will take place in St. Mary’s Church Castlefinn at 10.30am on Sunday 12th January.
