The spectacular ‘Light the Night’ charity car and tractor run from Ardara to Killybegs has raised thousands for worthy local charities.
The Mid West Donegal Vintage Club ran the event last night in memory of the late Brendan Gallagher. A hugely popular figure, Brendan was involved in many initiatives in the Killybegs and Mountcharles areas and his family proudly led out the run.

The final tally for the amount raised will be released in the New Year.
This year’s benefitting charities include the Niall Mór School Fund, The St Crona’s Wheelchair Swing Fund, and the Young People with Additional Needs Pilgrimage to Lourdes.
These tractors certainly did ‘Light the Night’!
