Finn Harps have been dealt a hammer blow ahead of the new season with confirmation that Noe Baba has signed for Athlone Town.

One of the top defenders in the First Division last year, the 28-year-old made 62 appearances during his time at Finn Park after arriving in February 2023.

At underage level, Baba played with Castlebar Celtic and also spent time at Fulham, Birmingham City and Macclesfield.
