Inclusive cycling has arrived in Lettermacaward, much to the delight of families with additional needs.
Gallaghers XL teamed up with Donegal County County to secure Donegal’s first Huka Wheelchair Duet Bike for people to use on the Gweebarra cycle path.
The bike is an adjustable bicycle and wheelchair all in one, and the best part is that it is free to hire from Gallaghers XL.
The team greeted the arrival of the bike as a fantastic Christmas present for the community.

“A huge thanks to Sláintecare Healthy Communities – NW Gaeltacht Area for helping make this project a reality through their generous funding,” said the team.
The shop already offers a popular bike hire service in partnership with the Bike Mobile.
