Conditions are expected to be blustery across this weekend, as a weather warning comes into effect in Donegal and several other counties.
A status yellow wind warning came into effect this morning for County Donegal, as well as counties Sligo, Leitrim, Galway and Mayo.
Sustained strong and gusty winds are expected, with Met Éireann advising that the worst of the wind will be this evening and into Saturday morning.
Large waves and wave overtopping are expected to cause difficult travelling conditions along the coastline, with the national forecaster also warning of the potential for fallen trees along roads.
The weather warning will stay in place until 2pm tomorrow afternoon.
