All of Donegal County Council’s buildings have been lit up green in support of Samaritans today, to mark the Winter Solstice.

They are taking part in Samaritans Ireland’s nationwide “Longest Night” campaign, showing solidarity with all those who make use of Samaritans’ services.

“We hope this display raises awareness that Samaritans are available to support those in need during their darkest hours and their vital role within our community,” Donegal County Council said announcing the initiative.

Samaritans’ helpline is available 24/7, 365 Days a year, Call 116 123.
