A snow and ice warning have been issued for County Donegal tonight, on top of an existing wind warning.
Met Éireann are warning of wintry showers of snow, sleet and hail tonight and into Sunday morning.
The snow and ice warning comes into effect at 10pm tonight, and will stay in place until 9am tomorrow, and has also been issued for counties Cavan, Monaghan, Leitrim and Louth.
Conditions are expected to be difficult on the roads, with the national forecaster warning of poor visibility and icy patches in parts.
A status yellow wind warning was already in place this evening, with strong and sustained gusts of wind expected in Donegal and a number of other coastal counties.
