There was plenty of joy as a new ferry for Arranmore had its initial homecoming yesterday.
The crew of the Arranmore Ferry took delivery of their new ship, called the Arranmore Blu.
Arranmore Blu was designed by Marine Design International in Glasgow, with Bute Boat Builders on the Isle of Bute in Scotland building the craft.
The craft left Bute on Thursday evening, arriving at Arranmore on Friday.
It will enter service on the Arranmore Ferry route early in the new year.
