Bus Éireann depot employee Adam Anderson has won the national award of Engineering Operative of the Year.
Adam, who is based at the Stranorlar depot, won the regional award in October and went on to pick up the national GEM (‘Go the Extra Mile’) Award.
Awards were issued in a number of different categories including Apprentice of the Year, Depot of the Year, Craftworker of the Year and several other categories including driver and community awards.
In congratulating the winners, Stephen Kent, Bus Éireann Chief Executive Officer said “your achievements represent the very best of Bus Éireann. You inspire us all with your commitment, ingenuity and passion for excellence. Your dedication is at the heart of what makes us a trusted and valued public transport provider.”
