A young Donegal Town woman has pleaded guilty to assaulting a female Garda causing her harm.
Fiona Shovlin, 24, appeared at Donegal Circuit Court and admitted assaulting Garda Joanne Doherty.
The incident happened on May 15, 2022 at Cavangarden, Ballyshannon.
The offence is contrary to Section 3 of the Non Fatal Offences Against The Person Act 1997.
The accused woman, of Brookfield, Donegal Town, spoke only to confirm her guilty plea.
