Donegal ladies GAA manager John McNulty has stepped down.

The Kilcar man took over from Maxi Curran at the end of 2023.

Donegal had been relegated from Division 1 and a number of key players had stepped down.

A statement from the Donegal LGFA tonight said “Donegal Senior Ladies Manager John McNulty has stepped down from his position, effective immediately.

“John is stepping away from this role for personal reasons.

“We’d like to thank John for his service and wish him well in the future.”

Businessman McNulty was a Fine Gael candidate in the recent general election but was unsuccessful.
