Saint Eunan’s College Letterkenny hosted its annual Junior House awards ceremony on Monday at the Mount Errigal Hotel.
The awards acknowledge and commend the outstanding academic achievements of junior students during the 2023-2024 academic year.
Awards were given for different categories such as sport, music, academic achievements, drama, student council and attendance.
The special guest on the night was Dwayne Shields. Pictured with students is Principal Mr. Damien Mc Croary and special guest Dwayne Shields.
Awards include the new Paul Elliott Mathematics Scholarship: This scholarship honours the late Paul Elliott, a past pupil who exemplified dedication and passion for mathematics. Elliott, who attended Saint Eunan’s from 1993 to 1999, was described as a student who “inspired many other students” with his mathematical abilities and enthusiasm. The Paul Elliott Mathematics Scholarship aims to motivate and assist students in their mathematical studies, both at the secondary and third level.
