The North West Breast Cancer Ball committee is delighted to announce that this Friday’s celebration is another sell-out success!
Hundreds of people are getting ready for a fabulous night out this Friday to fundraise for cancer services and research at the North West Breast Cancer Centre in Letterkenny.
The annual event in the Silver Tassie Hotel is also a special night to celebrate survivors and remember those who have sadly passed.
The North West Breast Cancer Ball Committee would like to express their sincere gratitude to the local community for their overwhelming support and generosity.
A special thank you goes to the sponsors and donors who have contributed to the raffle and auction, which promise to be very exciting elements of the evening.
Doctor Sinead Hanley, a radiologist specialising in breast imaging, will be attending the ball to share her own story of breast cancer and when the Doctor becomes the patient. She will also share her expertise and insight into the advances in breast cancer research and treatment. This is a unique opportunity to hear from a leading figure in the medical community.
If you missed out on a ticket for the ball and would like to hear from Dr Hanley, all are welcome to a free public lecture at Letterkenny University Hospital this Thursday 5th December 7-8pm in the large conference room.
As always, the North West Breast Cancer Centre, promises an unforgettable evening of community spirit, delicious food, music and lively dancing.
All proceeds directly support the vital services provided by the North West Breast Cancer Centre, helping those affected by breast cancer in the region.
The Beefsteak Dancers will provide the music and the ever popular Noel Cunningham is in the role of MC.
The night will start with a drinks reception at 7.15 p.m. Keep an eye on the Facebook and Instagram pages for a sneak peek at the wonderful items available for auction and up for grabs in the raffle!
