The tension has risen considerably in the Aura Centre tonight as the gap narrows between Thomas Pringle (IND) and Charlie McConalogue (FF) for the fifth and final seat.
Following the distribution of John McNulty’s 3,434 votes, there are now just 1,663 between Pringle and the Minister for Agriculture.
With Pat ‘the Cope’ Gallagher and 100% Redress’ Ward almost certain of taking the third and fourth seats respectively, a battle Royale has begun for the remaining position.
Currently, Gallagher is on 11,751, Ward has 9,909, McConalogue is on 9,029 while Pringle sits on 7,366.
With Noel Jordan’s (SF) 5,513 votes now being distributed, we could be in for a long night, and a photo finish.
