Sinn Fein have tallied a staggering 42% of the overall vote in the Donegal constituency.
The trio of Pearse Doherty, Padraig Mac Lochlainn and Noel Jordan polled a whopping 32,474 first preference votes.
Fianna Fail candidates Pat the Cope Gallagher and Charlie McConalogue have polled 24% of the vote with 18,659 votes.
A total of 77,747 votes were cast in this constituency.
The Fine Gael vote has plummeted with the duo of John McNulty and Senator Nikki Bradley polling just 9% of the vote between them with 7,045 votes.
The 100% Redress candidate Charles ward has polled well with 9% of the first preference votes with 6,857 first preferences.
Independent candidate Thomas Pringle has taken 7% of the overall vote with 5,344 first preference votes.
Aontu’s Mary T Sweeney are is on 3% of the overall tally with 2,481 votes.
The Independents and other candidates make up the rest of the votes with 4,887 first preferences or 6% of the tally.
