Work has commenced on the IDA’s new Business and Technology Park in Letterkenny.
Diggers have moved onto the site at Carnamuggah Lower.
When completed the facility will consisting of office and light industrial/production spaces for new business enterprises.
IDA Ireland was given the green light foe the development of the site last year.
The work is being carried out by local construction company, Glebe Builders.
Local county councillor Ciaran Brogan has welcomed the start of the development.
He said “I’m delighted that work has now started on new IDA advanced building solution at the IDA business and technology park in Letterkenny.
“This is again a vote of confidence in Donegal by the IDA in availability of competitive property solutions in attracting foreign direct investment.
“The on-going working relationship between all the relevant agencies in the Letterkenny, Donegal and North-West and almost 5,500 FDI jobs in this area, demonstrates the success of our winning formula and the quality workforce we have and makes us one of the most attractive places to live, work and do business.
