A new weather alert has been issued for Donegal and other counties today ahead of a spell of freezing fog.
Road users are being urged to take care as dense in some areas may impact visibility.
The status yellow warning will be in place from 4pm today (Wednesday) until 6am Thursday.
Tonight will be another freezing night with lowest temperatures of -3 to zero Celsius.

The last of the frost and fog will clear on Thursday morning before the weather turns milder.
Met Eireann’s forecast tomorrow says there will be hazy sunshine at first but mostly cloudy with a little patchy rain or drizzle spreading from the southwest during the afternoon. Highest afternoon temperatures of 7 to 10 Celsius but becoming a little milder after dark.
