Donegal musicians Brí Carr and Element 108 have collaborated on a dramatic new dance track.
Croía is an Irish-language song with ethereal melodies contrasted against deep, atmospheric beats.
Brí adds the vocals while the production is by Element 108 – aka Tommy Conway of Full Tilt Studios in Letterkenny.
The song, which means “heart” in Irish, is named after Tommy’s daughter and is the fourth and final release in a series of songs dedicated to his children.
Following the success of his previous single Laoch Óg, shortlisted in Hot Press magazine’s Top 20 Songs written in the Irish Language across all genres last year, Croía continues Element 108’s innovative approach to electronic music.
Brí’s captivating lyrics and vocals, paired with Element 108’s atmospheric beats, create a mesmerizing soundscape that lingers in your mind long after the music fades.
Early support for Croía comes from RTE 2FM’s Jenny Greene who said “This is breathtaking!”
So, if you’re looking for a fresh, innovative sound that blends Irish culture with contemporary electronic beats, be sure to check out Croía.
