Gardai have confirmed they are investigating an allegation that a young girl was approached by a stranger in Convoy on Friday last.
The incident occurred at Findrum, Convoy at approximately 4.30pm when the child was approached by a man in a car.
As part of their investigation, Gardai are appealing for the driver of a left hand drive white Audi A6 that was in the area around that time to make contact with them.
A spoeksperson said “The car had a foreign registration plate. We also appeal to any road users who may have been in the area with a dash cam to make the footage available to Gardaí.
“If anybody observed this car in the area on the date in question, we ask them to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100.
