A boat has been impounded by Gardai off the coast of Donegal.
It is understood the small trawler got into difficulty off the coast late on Saturday night and was brought to Greencastle Harbour in the Inishowen Peninsula.
The 9 metre, UK-registered vessel is currently moored at the harbour and is being search by a Garda forensic team.
Gardai continue to question one man who was on the boat when it came into port.
Gardai remain tight-lipped about the nature of the ongoing search, however.
A spokesperson said this is an ongoing investigation and they will be making no comment at this stage.
