Next month’s Django Donegal Festival will bring some of the very best Romani musicians to Donegal for two days of concerts.
The Regional Cultural Centre will host the festival across Friday the 6th and Saturday the 7th of December.
Three concerts will be taking place, featuring renowned musicians from Ireland and Europe.
On Friday the 6th, The Adrien Moignard Trio from France will kick off the festival with a concert at 8:30pm.
French guitarist Adrien Moignard is joined by Mathieu Chatelain on rhythm guitar and Jérémie Arranger, as they will travel through some of the very best in Jazz Manouche – from the festival’s namesake Django Reinhardt to Wes Montgomery.
Then on Saturday the 7th, French virtuoso violinist Aurore Voiliqué will join The Fintan Gilligan Trio for a combination of French and Irish Jazz Manouche styles getting underway at 6pm.
Dutch duo Stochelo Rosenberg & Paulus Schafer will then close the festival at 8:30pm, bringing their decades of experience playing around the world together as two of the best jazz guitarists in the scene.
Individual tickets for each concert are €20, but you can get access to all three concerts for €50.
