Donegal jockey Oisin Orr has hit the jackpot again in Bahrain.
He has defended his Bahrain International Trophy he claimed a year ago, and for the second year in a row it was on a horse owned by legendary Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson.
Orr stormed to the win in a tightly-contested race aboard one of Fergie’s biggest money-makers, Spirit Dancer.
The Donegal rider dramatically grabbed the lead in the final furlong of the race, making for another classic instance of “Fergie time” being in effect.

Along with the two big-money wins in Bahrain, Orr also won a $2 million race aboard Spirit Dancer in February of this year in Saudi Arabia.
Not too bad for a lad from Donegal.
