Donegal County Council representatives are part of a cross-border delegation which is visiting Philadelphia this week.
They joined their colleagues from Derry City and Strabane District Council on a trade and investment trip. The Councty Council was represented by CEO John McLaughlin, Garry Martin, Director of Economic Development, and Cathaoirleach, Cllr Niamh Kennedy.
The delegation had the opportunity to visit Philadelphia City Hall on Tuesday to meet with City Representative Jazelle Jones and Pierre-Olivier Lugez, Senior Director, International Business and Global Strategy.
They had the chance to discuss existing links between Philadelphia and the North West region, as well as the potential for trade and investment between the two areas and shared interests in the growing areas of FinTech, Biotech, Digital Health and Entrepreneurship.
