The latest set of opinion polls sees the two main Government coalition partners neck-and-neck just three weeks before the General Election.
Today’s Business Post/Red C poll has Fine Gael just ahead of Fianna Fail, with Fine Gael’s support at 22 percent and Fianna Fail’s support at 21 percent – both unchanged.
Sinn Fein have also seen a slight bump in the polls, up one to 18 percent – remaining the strongest opposition party.
According to the poll, voters trusted Fine Gael the most with the economy and job creation, while Sinn Fein were the party most trusted to deal with the housing crisis.
