TG4 has announced that they have commissioned a poll for the Donegal constituency, as part of their coverage in the run-up to the General Election.
With polls set to open on the 29th of November, TG4 has commissioned polling from Ipsos B&A in four of the counties which host the largest gaeltacht populations nationwide – Donegal, Kerry, Galway and Mayo.
The results of each of these polls will be broadcast on Nuacht TG4 on separate nights.
Donegal’s poll results will be announced on Tuesday the 19th of November during the 7pm news broadcast on TG4.
In a statement, TG4 said that: “TG4 has commissioned four individual constituency polls by leading market research company Ipsos B&A ahead of the general election.”
“The polls will focus on the five-seat constituencies of Galway West, Donegal, Mayo, and Kerry, where the election is expected to be highly competitive, with a mix of incumbent Ministers, and sitting TDs, and new candidates entering the race. Several prominent figures in each of the constituencies have announced they will not seek re-election opening the field for new contenders.”
“The results of the polls will be revealed exclusively on Nuacht TG4 beginning with Galway West on Thursday November 14th.”
“The Donegal constituency poll will broadcast on Tuesday 19th November, Mayo on Thursday 21st November and Kerry on Tuesday 26th November.”
“Eimear Ní Chonaola and Siún Nic Gearailt will analyse the results with panelists and experts for each constituency.”
