Forty-seven local Donegal models with Down Syndrome are starring in a wonderful charity calendar for 2025.
The calendar, in aid of Donegal Down Syndrome, aims to raise awareness by sharing personal stories, quotes, and essential information about Down Syndrome. Through this initiative, it is hoped to promote understanding, inclusion, and visibility within the community.
The calendar is the result of a labour of love from sisters Anne Marie and Debbie Walker.
Inspired by Debbie’s son Eddie, who has Down Syndrome, Anne Marie invited families and individuals with Down Syndrome from across Donegal to take part in the project, joining for photography sessions that capture the beauty and individuality of each person.
Eddie recently took matters into his own hands to get the calendar delivered to all The Cope shops!
Can you ‘Cope’ with how great this is?
Donegal businesses are joining forces to support Donegal Down Syndrome’s 2025 fundraising calendar.
Thanks to the generous support of Browne Printers for the printing and the commitment of The Cope in Dungloe, the calendars are now available in stores throughout the county. All proceeds from sales go to Donegal Down Syndrome, supporting members and patrons of the organisation directly.
If you’d like to support this cause by selling the calendars in your store, or purchase for home please contact donegalds@gmail.com
