New figures from the Central Statistics Office show that unemployment numbers in Donegal are down notably in the last twelve months.
There were 15.2% less people on the live register in County Donegal in October of this year compared to October 2023.
That is the second-largest decrease in any county in the state, only behind County Clare which saw a 16.9% reduction in live register figures.
Nationally there were 6,000 less people on the live register in October of this year versus 12 months ago.
