Bundoran Community Development CLG was originally formed in 2009 and in 2016, Bundoran Community Centre opened. A variety of programs and activities are available for people of all ages and abilities to engage in with a wide range of options and services for them to enjoy.
We are now inviting applications for the position of Bookkeeper as part of Shared Services. This is a specified purpose contract to provide maternity cover to 31 May 2025.
The successful candidate will report to the Manager of Bundoran Community Centre. This role will primarily involve coordinating, completing, and reporting on program payments for three social enterprises. The bookkeeper will be responsible for tracking the income and expenses of these enterprises, ensuring a well defined financial administration that meets the requirements set by funders. Key duties include reconciling financial transactions and preparing financial reports.
This position is contingent on funding and is part of a pilot Shared Services Model initiative providing bookkeeping and financial administration services to Bundoran Community Centre, The Bluestack Centre, and No Barriers Foundation. The primary employer for this role will be Bundoran Community Development CLG. This is a specified-purpose contract, covering maternity leave from January to May 2025, with a schedule of 22.5 hours per week.
