Donald J Trump is set to become the 47th president of the United States.
The Republican candidate is celebrating his win before the final results, but Vice President Kamala Harris now has only the narrowest of paths to the White House.
Trump’s victory was set when he picked up the battleground swing states of Pennsylvania, North Carolina and Georgia.
Trump is already making his winning speech in Florida, telling supporters that this is “one of the most important days of your life”.
“This is a magnificent victory for the American people, that will allow us to make America great again,” he said.
Democrat candidate Kamala Harris, who sought to be the first woman in the Oval Office, has cancelled her election night party.
