A man killed in a road incident in Co Donegal has been named locally as popular baker James Mailley.
Mr Mailley died after a road incident on the outskirts of Kerrykeel yesterday afternoon around 3.30pm.
It is now believed that he suffered a medical emergency while driving.
Emergency services rushed to the incident but Mr Mailley, aged 65, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Originally from Dumbarton in Scotland, Mr Mailley had been living in Kerrykeel for a number of years.
He ran the popular local Carlan Bakery and was regarded as a very hard working man.
The local coroner has been notified, and arrangements will now be made for a post-mortem examination.
Garda Forensic Collision Investigators carried out a full technical examination of the scene.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to this collision to come forward.
Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.

Mr Mailley was the 16th person to die on Donegal’s roads so far this year.
This compares to a total of ten people who died on the county’s roads for all of last year.
