Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a pedestrian was knocked down in Mountcharles in the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred on the town’s main street shortly after 4.30am.
A man was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive treatment for serious injuries sustained during the collision. No other injuries were reported.
Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact them.
Any road users who were in the area at the time between 4am and 4.40am, and have camera footage (including dash-cam), are asked to make this available.
