Met Éireann has issued a rain warning for County Donegal ahead of some unsettled conditions this weekend.
The status yellow warning will come into effect from 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
Local flooding due to heavy and persistent rain is anticipated according to the national forecaster.
This warning comes a week after Storm Ashley brought heavy winds and disruption to much of the county.
A number of roads became blocked due to fallen trees, with Donegal County Council also undertaking work in the upcoming weeks to remove dangerous trees in parts of the county.
Storm Ashley also prompted the demolition of a number of unsafe buildings on Letterkenny’s Main Street, with the threat of high winds posing high risk to pedestrians due to the state of the structures and their associated signage.
