Gardaí in Donegal are reminding motorists to arrive alive this Bank Holiday Weekend, as a number of drivers were caught speeding in the Buncrana area yesterday.
The speeding blitz is part of a crackdown on road safety offences nationwide this weekend.
Five drivers in total were handed fines and penalty points in a short period of time for speeding by Inishowen Gardaí yesterday.
Their speeds ranged from anywhere between 21 km/h and 37 km/h over the posted speed limit where they were driving.
Gardaí issued a simple reminder to motorists ahead of this Bank Holiday Weekend.
