Appeal after vacant house broken into in Donegal town

Gardaí are investigating a burglary that occurred at a vacant house in Donegal town recently.

The incident occurred in the area of Orbeg sometime between Tuesday the 1st of October and Tuesday the 15th of October. The glass was removed from the front door frame of the house in order to gain entry.

Nothing was stolen from the property. 

Gardaí have appealed to residents in that area to make contact with them in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530 if they observed any suspicious activity between those dates.

Alternatively, any relevant information can be passed on via the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111.
