Almost 100 homes and businesses in the Creeslough area are without power this morning.
According to ESB Networks, 95 customers have been affected since 6:33am today due to a fault.
Power is expected to be restored within the next hour.
More outages are expected later when the county when Storm Ashley will hit the county with gale force winds of up to 130 km/h.
The storm is forecast to bring strong winds, which, coupled with high spring tides, may cause coastal flooding.
A Status Orange wind warning will take effect from 10am until 8pm for counties Donegal, Sligo, Leitrim, Mayo, Galway, Clare and Kerry.
