The Irish School of Reflexology & Wellness is enrolling for a new term of the Practitioner’s Diploma in Foot Reflexology in January 2025.
Based in Ballybofey, diploma course in Reflexology runs one weekend per month, over twelve months. Students have a choice of two locations: Dublin and Donegal.
Tatiana Grosso, Principal of The Irish School of Reflexology & Wellness tells us more about this rewarding career path:
@irishschoolofreflexology Reflexology is a very safe, powerful and highly effective complementary therapy. Reflexology is not an alternative therapy to the traditional approach and western medicine. Of course, because of that we live longer and better. However, whenever it is safe and recommended, we would try to help our clients with Reflexology too by simply pressing the points in the feet. The benefits of reflexology are endless. It can relieve digestive issues, back pain, anxiety, it is extremely effective during labour and post-partum and much more. We can’t predict exactly how each patient will react to the treatment, but I know each one of them will walk away with the benefit they required. Whether it is relaxation, pain reduction, more energy or more. A new term will begin on the 4th/05th of January, at the Jackson’s Hotel co. Donegal. January is the ideal time of the year to embark on a new learning journey. Reflexology is an amazing skill to have for both your own family and a new career in the holistic field.
Many people set personal and professional goals for the New Year. Learning something new fits perfectly into these resolutions, making January a natural time to pursue new interests and dive into a fulfilling new career that involves helping people with their health.
Reflexology is a very gentle and safe form of therapy. It has been increasingly used to manage health in a wider way, taking into consideration not just the physical side of a disease, but the more emotional and spiritual side of it too. Holistic health can address certain health complaints. Holistic healing means looking into the cause of the health problem and not just at the symptoms. Once we deal with the acute pain or attack, we should then consider digging deeper and discovering what causes our headache, stomach pain and all those kinds of complaints.
Why Train in Reflexology?
I was often asked this question, and I realized that Reflexology is a skill for life. This wonderful yet simple treatment can truly help people with health problems in a way I haven’t seen with other therapies, unless patients took medication or tablets (which as a Therapist I always support).
My Reflexology training was a skill I was able to use with my family and friends at first. Very quickly it became my passion when I realised how beneficial Reflexology treatments were in helping health conditions in a natural way.
The Diploma in Foot Reflexology can lead to a wonderful and fulfilling new career. As a Reflexologist, the new graduate will be able to work in hospitals, nursing homes, hospices, sports centres, gyms, natural health centres or even on cruise lines! Others may choose to branch out independently by working from home or visiting clients in their own homes.
Opportunities for well qualified, skilled reflexologists are endless and the Practitioner’s Diploma in Foot Reflexology will open up new doors that will lead to a new path of growth and self-realisation.
New term: Co. Donegal – January 04/05th, Jackson’s Hotel – Ballybofey.
