A second person is due in court this morning charged in relation to a suspected stabbing in Ballybofey.
The charges follow an incident at Navenny Street in Ballybofey on Wednesday night at around 9pm when a local man, in his 30s, allegedly received a number of stab wounds.
He was rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment but his condition is not understood to be life-threatening.
In a follow-up operation local Gardai arrested a man and a woman.
A 25-year-old woman from Ramelton appeared before a special sitting of Letterkenny District Court last night charged in connection with the incident.
A man, also aged in his 20s, is due to appear before the same court later this morning.
