More than 1,000 affected by morning power cut in East Donegal

Over 1,000 homes, businesses and farms near Lifford were impacted by a power outage this Wednesday morning.

The unplanned outage was reported shortly after 8am in the wider Rossgeir area.

ESB Networks have been working on the issue and restored supply to the majority of customers.

A remaining 141 properties are without power, as of 9.20am. ESB Networks aim to have supply fully restored by 10.15am today.
