Could one of Donegal’s 2012 All-Ireland greats be about to manage one of their biggest rivals?
Donegal legend Karl Lacey has been linked to the vacant job as Manager of Derry.
The Oak Leaf county has had the role vacant since Mickey Harte stepped down in the Summer.
Now according to the BBC, Lacey has appeared as a serious contender to replace him.
The 2012 Footballer of the Year and former All-Star is the current Manager at County Down side Kilcoo, who he has led to a county title and another county final in his first two years in charge.
