A new planning application has been lodged to construct a six storey apartment block in the centre of Letterkenny.
The development, which seeks to build up to 30 apartments, is seeking planning on a vacant site on the junction of Paddy Harte Road and Pearse Road (opposite McDonalds.)
The application for the development has been made in the name of Gerard McCallion on behalf of Glenturas Construction Limited.
An original application was made for the development last November.
However, the Planning Authority sought further information and revised drawings from the developer.
The new application and revised plan increases the original application from 28 apartments to 30 apartments and from five storeys to six storeys in height.
The new application can be viewed during office hours at the Planning Office at Donegal County Council in Lifford.
