The North West Basketball team got their 24/25 season off to a flying start with a win at the weekend.
Taking full home-court advantage with their game against Ulster University being hosted at ATU Letterkenny, Team North West got off to a hot start and went into the half-time break up 50-35.
That gap was brought down to just 7 points in the fourth quarter, but the North West side didn’t flinch and held on for a strong 10-point win.
Tyler Mutemasango starred for the North West, the game’s highest scorer with 24, and another strong perofrmance by Alberto Rodriguez saw him net 21 points.
Their next home game is on Saturday the 12th of October at 5pm, at ATU Letterkenny.
